Solar InstallerLocation - Wallingford, CTPosition Requirements:18+ years of ageMust be team orientedValid driver's license with reliable transportationExperience in flat and tilt mounted rail systems along with top mount and shared rail systemsExperience in roof wiring, grounding and installing micro inverters6 months of PV experience and be familiar with NEC requirements related to PV installsFamiliar with, and possession of, basic hand tools commonly used in solar work (flat bar, hammer, tape measure)Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the installFamiliar with OSHA standards and fall preventionDescription:The Solar Installer will work together with other members of the install team to complete the assigned project in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Working Conditions:Indoor as well as outdoor year-round in varying weather conditions and temperaturesMust be willing and able to work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, roofs of varying heights and pitches, trenchesDuties/Responsibilities:Employees will conduct themselves in a professional respectful manner and maintain a neat, clean professional appearance at all timesCommunicate with the Warehouse Tech to ensure all installation supplies necessary for the day's install are accounted for and stocked in the truckEnsure work truck is maintained in a clean and organized fashion at all timesReport any and all vehicle deficiencies to the Fleet Manager in a timely mannerMust maintain a clean and safe working environment with attention to detailObserve all safety guidelines at all timesComplete all required documentation, including pictures and reports, and upload dailyComplete system installation according to plan sets and in compliance with established industry codeOther tasks that may be assigned from time to timeEOE Statement - We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
